Unfortunately yes. The internal audio bus in the ColdFire CPU is only 20
bits. The 4 low bits are always 0 on the S/PDIF output.

I haven't confirmed on the PCB, but I believe the FM radio can be
recorded. Rumours say that the function is disabled because the hard
drive disturbs the FM reception.
