I was looking at the Iriver players yesterday and they're smaller then the
Archos. There are several size players, but no 20 GB players. Are all of
them accessible for blind people? Are you making rockbox accessible for all
players or just certain ones?

The HD certainly would disturb the FM reception, and whilst this isn't
too much of a problem on the current FMR that I have, it would be
whilst recording, as the HD would have to be accessed regularly to
save the recorded data. I had an edigital HD mp3 player, and the same
would be true for that.

Unfortunately yes. The internal audio bus in the ColdFire CPU is only
20
bits. The 4 low bits are always 0 on the S/PDIF output.

I haven't confirmed on the PCB, but I believe the FM radio can be
recorded. Rumours say that the function is disabled because the hard
drive disturbs the FM reception.
