Subject: RE: questionn about jaws and photos
JAWS is probably reading the descriptions of photos contained in "alt
tags." More precisely, the HTML code for displaying an image in a web
page includes a place for a string of up to about 150 characters for
providing a textual description of the image (typically a .gif or .jpg
file). When JAWS processes the HTML file on which a web page is based,
it includes such alternate descriptions in the virtual view of the page.
Hope this helps,
Jamal

Subject: questionn about jaws and photos
Hey:
I was wondering, on some web sites, jaws will describe some of the
photos,
for example www.seeingeye.org I was wondering what do you have to do to
get
jaws to describe photos?
