hi Glenn,
some hints for deveject:

plug in your archos, run deveject >list.txt
it chreate a list of removable devices with ID.
search your archos string , for instance

USB\VID_05AB&PID_0060\WWWW.ARCHOS.COMA

then eject it with

deveject "-EjectId:USB\VID_05AB&PID_0060\WWWW.ARCHOS.COMA"

don't forget the "" and the no-spaces...

PS: you must close all programs that keeps open files on the jukebox and all
directory listings (explorer)
