Subject: Playback problem w/ V2

Playback problem w/ V2

Howdy all,

I have a problem that I hope you all can deal with my V2 Recorder. I'm
still using the original 20 gig HD that came with the unit. Well,
there's seems to be a limit to playing tracks beyond a certain capacity.
Up to about 10 gigs in transferred songs, the tunes play fine in their
entirety. But if I add more songs, when playing back the later songs,
they play only in part then silence as the next song in the playlist
queues and starts when plays in part then silence etc. Very annoying.
Same problem with VBR or constant bit rate. I forget which daily build
is on it (early January I think). What do you reckon is the problem?
Buffer problem? Should I use the latest daily build? It's pretty
annoying that I had to remove all my Tom Waits and Waterboys songs. At
least I was able to find my old Studio 10 to put them on, but it rather
sucks having to carry two devices around with me.

Anyhow, thanks for any help.

Be seeing you,

-ed
