The name of the project and software is Rockbox (without space).

The iRiver porting effort has started with the h1x0 models. If time and energy
permit, the work will be done on the h3x0 models after basic functionality
has been made for the h1x0 ones.

But you can start this yourself, no need to wait.

Status for this work is regularly updated in the Rockbox wiki.
