I disagree. I've heard nothing bad about the radio of the JR. I have a JR
and am happy with it, mine doesn't have a radio, but its digital, you don't
have to change the batteries, and it reads the menus and info via Rockbox.

Let me get this straight. The J BR FM is not digital? Doesn't it have a
built-in rechargeable battery? Can you please clarify what you mean? Is the
radio receiver of poor quality, or does it work well? I'd be interested in
hearing from others on this topic. What problems have you experienced with
your JBR FM units?

If you don't want digital and you don't want easy to change batteries and
you don't want a _good_ radio receiver (as mentioned below), then maybe the
lack of remote will put you off.

If not then maybe a V2 is the baby for you :) It _is_ a bit smaller and
lighter :)
