If you reinstall it, make sure you unzip it directly to the Archos, don't
just paste the files. I'm a blind user too and I couldn't get mine to work
at all till I figured out how to unzip it directly to the drive. Look at the
FAQ for blind users. Its a great help.

Hi Glen,

for some reason I've now completely lost speech. I've had some sighted help
and even though we've enabled everything we can see to do with voices, i.e
talk, speak directories and the like, I'm wondering should I reinstall the
whole package?
