Subject: Re: Mac Compile Errors

Re: Mac Compile Errors

I hate replying to myself, but it looks like there's an
-xassembler-with-cpp option that can be passed to the preprocessor that
does the trick on apple's OSX

The only problem is, I can't see a way to get gcc to pass it through
(-Wp,option should, but doesn't here). So either we start using cpp
directly, or manually filter the #pragma out, which will let the
simulator work properly for mac users without requiring a custom build
of gcc.

If someone knows what's missing from
echo "hi" | gcc -P -E -Wp,xassemble-with-cpp -
let us know :)

Andrew Pilley

ps, sodding apple :(
