Does it play music when you press play on a file?
Also, if you hear music, did you stop the music before entering the menus?

Subject: Still Having Problems getting my Unit to Talk

Hello Everyone,
I have taken all the suggestions given to me, and I am still not having any
luck getting the speech on my unit. The unit is new, and I unzipped the
files directly to the unit, and then unzipped the voice file directly into
the lang folder, and I am still having no luck!!!

If any of you have further suggestions I'm all for trying them!!
