an addition after looking into it a bit:

For the Ondio, it seems that "battery_centivolts" is never written to
besides the init.
The Ondio is a bit different: it has neither HAVE_CHARGING nor
HAVE_CHARGE_CTRL. Nevertheless we want a battery gauge.
My time is too limited to sink into this right now, I hope you have some
ideas how it should be coded.
