Well the answer is yes & no.
Yes: The FM recorder & the FM recorder II are newer versions of basically
the same technology.

the Ondio is also a unit that supports Rockbox. It uses a memory card
rather then a Hard Drive Which is great for silent running and for jogging
etc. Good luck finding one though,.
