You said in your first post that you had a "Studio Recorder" and there
is no such model. It is either a Recorder or a Studio, and since you
have "Shutdown" in the menu, it is definitely a Studio and not a Recorder.

If you want recording capabilities, buy an Archos Jukebox Recorder.
