Yes. 1 GB is standard size (got mine from ebay half a year ago, large choice
of vendors), above still somewhat exotic. You may also use a SD card, but
only if it is the slim variant, 1.4 mm thick.
Both types of cards are popular for digital cameras.

Yes.

Volume is up/down button. (BTW, the Studio model also allows volume change
via button combo. No model requires to use the menu.)

You have to run a VisualBasic script which generates these clips, via TTS on
a PC. It walks recursively through a directory tree. If you prefer your own
voice, you may do so as well.
