I finally got the solder removed with the metal braids. The mistake I made
was soldering together the two battery joints on the top left hand corner of
the Jukebox. Because of this I was not able to charge the battery or play
mp3's from external power. Now It appears now that I can.

Everyone's advise is much appreciated....
