Since you seem to have stopped development on the perl version, I hope you can
spell out in details what changes you do that are required so that we can make
the perl version work the same.

I simply won't be running the java version - for practical and religious
reasons.

Any thoughts on how/what can be done if a tagdatabase is _not_ present? I
mean, lesser featured, lesser good but still it would be useful...
