Sorry, didn't work for me (bleeding 20050709-1019).

1 Next: %?Ia<%Ia|%s%D1>
2 %t0;Next: %s%?Ia<%Ia|%D1>

Line 1 flickers
Line 2 sticks to D1

But after I enter and leave a menu, both lines work correctly.
