i'm having probs with the database on my flashed
jbr20V1-100gb.

at the moment when i select id3database it comes up
blank.

i've put the latest vorbiscomm.pm, songdb.pl &
makedb.bat files into the rockbox directory.
i've double clicked on makedb.bat - it runs for just a
fraction of a second (i have 16000 tracks so i think
that cant be right).

should there be perl58.dll & perl.exe files in rockbox
too as they are there on my unit?
do i need to load a newer version of pearl on my pc?
if so which version do i select from the web site & do
i /how do i uninstall the old version?

do i need the AS package or MSI? when i originally
downloaded the perl program i just went to a link &
pressed 'go'.
