Hey, maybe my units will work with my remote.
I thought maybe that they weren't wired for a remote.
I'll have to try again with the bug fixed, if that is indeed the case.

I'm really glad I'm not the only one who has seen this behaviour - my
archos remote is battery-dead at the moment so I can't check, but there is
a button on my remote that does exactly the same thing! All I can so for
sure is "no, you are not going mad, it really did happen!"
