Hello Eric,
You should read the manual, but I believe you can, via the menus, set the
directory. Or if you open up your .CFG file with Notepad, you can specify
the specific directory there.
I believe one of the menu options is to place the recording into the current
directory, which would mean that you would browse to your folder of choice,
and then start recording.
If you open the manual, assuming you downloaded it, use control + F to
search the manual for "recording".
Or you might find the section title from the top of the manual, and search
for the section for recording.

Can someone tell me how I can change the director where my recordings go?
My directory is set up such that I have things listed alphabetically by
artist, so the "Recordings" directory is in the middle of all that mess.
When I created a folder where I keep my podcasts, since I listen to those a
lot and to make them easy to locate, I named the directory with an
exclamation mark to start the folder name. I would like to do the same for
the recordings folder.

I am blind, so if you can give instructions one can follow without
visualizing the screen, it will be most appreciated!
