That I wanted to reply on the page where you uploaded the patch, instead
of writing it on the mailing list. The server wouldn't let me enter a
comment there though.

This is not a problem of converting the font. It's a matter of knowing
when to use a different font - and loading a different built-in font. My
guess is that this will become possible once unicode support is added to
Rockbox at some point in the far future.

I believe amiconn wanted to have a look at this. It has other problems
than not being bidi-compatible, I believe.
