any condenser mic with a power source
small changes in cost imply nothing
large changes tend to imply better quality

make sure you have the internal mic enabled ...rather than radio-as-source
or external mic, etc.
crank up the gain to max, and wind it down until you have something sensible

enable bookmark-on-stop and hit stop :)

short cut menus
one screen (per f2/f3 button) each with three quick-options
errrr, shuffle on/off repeat one/none/all check the blind friendly
version of the manual ...if it's missing let us know.

You need to make your own recordings - Rockbox does not READ the names, it
just plays an mp3 of someone saying the name. There are tools to automate
this procedure with the use of speech synthesisers.
