Thank you for your reply. I have already done as you've suggested, but any time I try to run the firmware_flash.rock (before or after running the 2.5 ajbrec.ajz) all I get is the Incompatible Version message.

I have verified that I've downloaded the jukebox recoder version 1 2.5 and I ran the Rockbox 2.5 Install.exe directly to the jukebox. I deleted everything on the jukebox and did it again to make sure no stray remnants were left over. The current version in flash is CVS-050807 if that is meaningful. I've also verified that I've downloaded the correct bootbox for my jbr20 v1.

Any help you can offer will be greatfully accepted.

Unzip v2.5 *completely* to your box, with the full .rockbox subdir. Unzip<br>the bootbox files into the root of your box.
