Subject: Re: rockbox_flash.rock?

Re: rockbox_flash.rock?

I didn't use the installer. I simply downloaded
rockbox-2.5-recorder.zip, fired off my unzipper and pointed it at h:\,
the drive letter my Archos comes up as. Tell it to overwrite
everything.

Then make sure you're running the new version - ROLO'ing the new
executable is the safest method - and everything should work fine.

If you're still having problems, move the .rockbox directory to your
computer and re-unzip the distribution. This makes sure all remnants
of the older versions are gone.

I deleted everything on the jukebox and did it again to make sure no stray remnants were left over. The current version in flash is CVS-050807 if that is meaningful. I've also verified that I've downloaded the correct bootbox for my jbr20 v1.
