recording settings:

>5. Time split: off
it's a nice function to split files during recording in for instance 5 minute, 10 minute or 74 minutes chunks. Sou you can handle big recordings easily.

>6. Prerecord time: off

Prerecord is an amazing rockbox feature: If you turn it on (max. 30seconds), it's possible to record sound 30 seconds b e f o r e you pressed the record button.

So you can listen before you record (satellite radio or TV).

>7. Record directory: current directory.

It's better (I think) to use the setting "recordings" here. You cannot everytime know what current directory is. So you have to search your file after recording...
