Subject: Intermitent Distortion Bug

Intermitent Distortion Bug

I have an iriver H140 and I get an occasional problem with a distorted MP3
playback. (Even with 02-Oct-05 build)

I think this is to do with voice menus. I only ever seem to get it when
I'm using my "car" .cfg file that has voice menus turned on (.talk files
created for all directories and tracks). And it seems to occur just after
start up or just after switching to the car .cfg.

When the problem occurs the voice menus don't play and if I start playing
a track the sound is "muffled" with a burst of a static type noise every
couple of seconds. If I power down and power up again everything is fine.

I'm guessing it's some sort of initialisation or buffer overflow problem.

I have tried but I am unable to get this repeatable at will.
