Hmm, I am using ThePlug and cannot second this. IMHO they have very much
bass (in the beginning I have thought it would be way to much) and not
so much highs. But it depends on how deep they are put into the ear. The
deaper they sit, the more bass you have. And as you wrote you had
problems in fitting them into the ear.

In the beginning I had some problems with them, too. They felt a bit
uncomfortable and I also had the feeling they would swell out of my
ears. But after I have got used to them they are great ear phones. Good
bass, not to hard highs, they could be a little more crisp in sound. It
is no high fidelity sound (the Koss (S)Porta Pro do sound much better,
but they are open, so you can hear everything around you), but I enjoy
to not hear other people in the train around me when listening music.

Also I had no problems with breaking them. I had found them very cheap
(about 20 EUR) at amazon.de 1.5 years ago.

Interesting. Which one of the Sony phones do you recommend?
