Sorry to burst your bubble dude but I have been running rockbox on my IHP 140 since the voice UI became available back on August 25. Or, was that July??
I'll let you keep the title of first on the Archos even though I probably have that one too. Or, maybe AMMAN Singer and or John Cavisy out of the blind corner anyways. obviously, the Devs are the real first ones to run it. Right Jourg?

I managed to do the archos with no help, and only a gallon of coffee, so I'll give it a go. I was one of the first to do it, so I've got to keep my record!.
I'll post to the list with any comments or questions.

Great, did you install the software yourself?
I'm a bit concerned with the messing with the firmware that seems to be required.

I am using Rockbox with a IHP-120 and it works great. The only thing I have yet to figure out is the bookmarks. I am not sure if they are supported yet but everything else works great. The voiced menus rock and also the script to create .MP3 clips for your directories and files is a blessing. I have had the unit for almost a week and I totally love it.

As the subject line says. Let me know how you've got on, as I'm about to try it. Anyone know when the release for the 3X series units will be available?
Thanks,
Rob
