There are iPod-compatible programs for Linux which work just fine, but
yes you're right, Apple does not have an iTunes program for Linux.

Odd, though, since OS X is written based on FreeBSD, that Apple hasn't
seen this as a possibility when I'm certain that iTunes is available for
OS X?
