Subject: RE: MP3 clip generation with Eloquence

RE: MP3 clip generation with Eloquence

Hi Glen, I can't comment on the speech settings in Control panel, however
Eloquence SAPI version is visible to all SAPI 4-capable programmes. For
example, I see it in Kurzweil 1000, Weather Aloud etc, so I know it's
definitely SAPI.

The thing is though, I have both W E and JFW installed, but I have not seen
eloquence ever as an option in the speech settings in control panel. Glenn

Hi Glenn, the Window-eyes implementation of Eloquence is SAPI 4, but the
JAWS one is not.

I don't think that the screen-readers make it available in control panel's
speech area. Glenn

Window-eyes also comes with Eloquence in SAPI form. It is possible that you
can download the free Window-eyes demo and get Eloquence that way.

At least OpenBook comes bundled with it. I think that it can also be
purchased directly from IBM, for a very high price, of course...
