I've never seen Via Voice in control panel either, and I think the voice
clips created with Eloquence and Via Voice were made with a program such as
"Text Aloud" and compiled into a file called English.voice.

Can You select IBM Via Voice as a default speech in control pannel? or would
there be another way of doing it?
I notice there's a file up on the rockbox site that is a fast speaking Read
from IBM Via Voice?
