No offense, but it's a bad idea to contact me besides the list:

I hope you don't mind I merged it back on the list again.

To answer your question: I just checked the recording on my unit, and
recording into a wav file with the internal microphone was fine,
except from the fact the the status icon in the status bar did not get
updated, but thats benign.

So, I conclude it's not working in the simulator yet, yes :-)
