Yes I think so. Battery runtime won't be great though - since it
has to rebuffer really often (~10 seconds with 44.1kHz 16bit
stereo .wav), the harddisk will be spinning continuously.
I'd expect something around 3 hours .wav playback with stock
batteries on v1.

Unfortunately not. I really want to do it; it's the standard
problem, lack of time... :-)
