Interesting, what is an accumulator?
Sounds like it could be a reference to the hard drive.

I think about buying an used Archos Jukebox Multimedia 20 GB to run
rockbox on. One problem of older devices might be a bad accumulator. Can
those be changed by yourself or do you need special accu packs and a
technical "engineer"?
