Oops... wrong button!

If I plug my H340 in via USB only, it powers up into the bootloader (v5) and
displays Bootloader USB mode. However the hard drive is not accessible from
Windows like it is if I boot into the Iriver firmware.

Is this correct? If so, what's the point of Bootloader USB mode? If not,
can I do anything much to help diagnose the issue? I'm running Windows 2000
SP4 and a recent CVS of Rockbox.
