german and english voice files on iriver h 300

Hello,

I have problems running the voice files for the english and german
language. Are there different voicefiles for irivers around?
I used the german and english files dated in November 2005 and I
didn't get speech.
Can someone give me a step by step introduction how to turn on voice
on the iriver h 300?
