When you installed the voice fiel, did music still play, or did that
also fail?

If music also failed, please try the 4/25 daily build, or the latest CVS
build. There was a bug with startup and voice that I fixed this (4/24,
US Central) morning.

If music did not also fail, please remind me which target you are using
and I'll see if I can find out what's going on.

Hello,
I am having this same issue with my Video with the daily and CVS builds from
4/23 to the most recent. I don't have audio, either voice or music playback.
I tried rebooting Rockbox, along with resetting it to the default settings
with the hold key to no prevail.

Also what is a bit discerning is thatI can't turn off my iPod. I have to
wait until it powers off by it's self before the PC will recognize it as a
drive.

I am currently using the v2 english.lang that Jamie kindly posted a couple
of weeks ago to generate my voice files and the 4/05 daily build which seems
to be my only choice at this time.
