Hi Rafi,
This is a different issue. The USB mode that is accessed when you have
the player powered off and connect USB is the bootloader USB mode; i.e.
the bootloader handles the USB connectivity, so it happens before
Rockbox actually boots. This will not be affected by any of the Rockbox
settings. I have noticed this one too, but it doesn't always fail for
me. There is a bug filed on the tracker describing this issue.
