Hello fellow Rock Box fans,
I just received my Iriver H120 this afternoon and promptly installed the latest daily build of Rock Box onto the device. I am legally blind, and I must say that the voice menus are an absolute godsend; though I have found some serious startup problems on which I can elaborate later if necessary. My ultimate goal is to replace my outdated Sony MZ-N707 recorder with the H120. One thing I have found is that there appears to be no way to use an external microphone with Rockbox running, be it mono or stereo. Are there any plans for adding an external microphone option to the recording source menu so an external preamp won't be needed? I plan on making many recordings with stereo microphones, which the MZ-N did adequately. I do have an external preamp on hand which I can use in the mean time, but I would love to not have to carry the extra hardware around. I know that this is project is based on nothing but volunteers, and I must say that despite the current limitations in the Rockbox firmware I'm really impressed ------------
