Re: Digital output not working with some files on JBR V1
Thanks, that was it. My experiments indicate that the JBR V1 won't
play files sampled at less than 32k through the digital output.
Here's how I resampled to fix:
1. Install free Audacity and the LAME mp3 encoding library.
2. In preferences/File Formats/MP3 Export Setup, make sure Bit Rate is
set to 48 or higher (any lower won't support sample rates of 32k).
3. File/Import the mp3 that needs to be resampled.
4. In the "Project Rate" box at the lower left of the big project
window, click and type in 32000.
5. File/Export the mp3.
If anyone knows an easier way to resample for free, that would be
nice... I've got a lot of files to convert.
