Hi All.
Now, I want to get my directories spoken rather than spelt.
Thanks.

Hey James, or someone, is there any way you could get a French voice file up
there with Reed or some other character?

Hi,
Nice explanation, but I can't totally agree with your last statement. The
most important specification is however the power usage of the disk.

Swissknife failed a few times now, and I don't know why. This week, a new version of the Gparted-Live-CD was released. That means that you can download this 30MB image, burn it to a cd, boot from that CD and format the archos with that. http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php ~lImbus On 6/21/06, Glenn at home <GlennErvin@cableone.net> wrote: > I think you should be able to hook it up via USB and > format it. > You will want it partitioned as a FAT32, if it is not partitioned already. > A program called SwissKnife is often used for this. > Glenn > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "dennis barton" <dbarton@pacbell.net> > To: "Rockbox" <rockbox@cool.haxx.se> > Sent: Tuesday, June 20, 2006 8:48 PM > Subject: how to format drive? > > If I get a new drive for my JBRHD15, do I need to format it somehow a > laptop before installing in the JBR? > > If not, how can the JBR even boot up, with no Rockbox on the hard drive > yet? ------------------------------ Message: 8 Date: Wed, 21 Jun 2006 19:55:35 -0500 From: "Glenn at home" <GlennErvin@cableone.net> Subject: Re: mp3 player suggestions To: "Rockbox" <rockbox@cool.haxx.se>, <reyuth1010@gmail.com> Message-ID: <003b01c69596$92ca43c0$6a00a8c0@desktop> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-15" Sometimes, the radio can do better with different headphones, as far as FM reception anyway, as the headphone cord is the antenna. The radio is poor, but line in & mic works fine. 3AAA-batts required. internal memory 128MB, external MMC card up to 4GB. I have an 4GB Ondio FM and I'm very pleased with that. Yes as soon as I downloaded the CVS voices they worked perfectly. Now I'm looking to use MP3 clip. At present my directories are spelt and I would like them spoken. Please would someone be kind enough to: * let me know exactly what I need to have; and * What I need to do with each file. I have looked in the Voicebox but do not have anything with a VBS extention. Thanks list, its really supportive. MAURICE PRESS MANAGING DIRECTOR OF THE DISABILITY RESOURCE TEAM. I know for example, that the iriver players won't support all .ogg bit rates and formats. Hope that helps if not, bin the suggestion.
