Subject: AC3 files not playing from where they stopped

AC3 files not playing from where they stopped

Hi folks. I have an Iriver H340. I'm having the following problem.

If I play an AC3 file, stop it and then play it again using the
"play" button, the file doesn't continue playing from where it left
off. If I do the same thing with mp3, ogg or wave files, rockbox
continues playing them from the point where they were stopped.

Of course, I am assuming here that you don't play any other file
before trying to restart the AC3 file.

As far as I understand, pressing the navi button (the big one in the
centre) on the IH340 starts playing the selected file from the
beginning while pressing "play" causes Rockbox to resume playing from
the file and point where it was last stopped. This functionality
works great, but doesn't seem to work on AC3 files. Mind you, I have
no problem fast-forwarding or rewinding in AC3 files.

I'm curious to know if anyone else has the same problem with AC3 files.

Cheers,
Andrew.
