Just to confirm that this problem is fixed on my iAudio x5 player.
 
Two additional problems still remain when using voice clips:
 
1. double clicking of the joyce stick and the play and record buttons are
required to activate them.
 
For example, while in a directory I have to move the joyce stick down
twice before the next filename is spoken.
 
2. the words 'while hovering' are sometimes spoken in the 'menu' voice
when navigating files and folders where the 'while hovering' setting is
used.
