For some reason, with my H-340, I need to sometimes push the menu button
twice a bit quickly for it to speak the menus.
On the english.voice file, make sure you rename the voice that you've
installed and put into your langs folder english.voice. IF you just put the
voice in the langs folder, it won't talk.
