Absolutely untrue. If your email address displays in plain sight on search
engines, it is much, much easier for spammers to find it. Why do you think
people write email addresses like so on a website: email (at) domain (dot)
com, put them in images, or use feedback forms instead? Like I said, you
will probably get spammed anyway, but not NEARLY as much as having your
Email address displayed untruncated on Google and other search engines. I
don't understand how you can say this wouldn't help at all. It certainly
won't eliminate spam at all--you're right, a spammer could guess at the
domain or read addresses by simply subscribing their address to the
list--but it is way more unlikely. By the way, what's the address of the
admin?
