Re: problem with Rockbox speech
I would try scanning your registry with a registry product, and then I would
do a thorough scan of the hard drive.
These steps should be done from time-to-time anyway.
If that does not fix it, try installing a voice, and then all of your
computer speech engines may work.
I have some Microsoft voices I could send you if you don't have any.
Or you could go to Microsoft.com, and download the latest SAPI software.

Subject: problem with Rockbox speech
Hi
I have a problem with creating folder names with Voicebox. This is because
as of yesterday, I have not been able to access the text to speech engine
when in the control panel. When I select Speech from control panel, that is
OK, but when I click the text to speech tabbed page, I get the following
error. Does anyone please know how to resolve this?
Thank you.
RUNDLL
An exception occurred while trying to run
"C:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL "C:\Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\Speech\sapi.cpl",Speech"
OK
