Re: Configuration of the List
Hi Rocker,
I have not been able to see the thread from the beginning, but there
is a good screen reader for Linux: Orca. Take a look here:
http://www.gnome.org/projects/orca/
and
http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gap/
If you are looking for a mail reader like Evolution, you can use
perfectly Orca and Linux (i am not blind, but me "job friend" is, and he
uses Linux every day with Orca). Orca uses the concept of 'scripts' like
Jaws, and has an script for evolution.
If you are looking for internet accessibility (firefox for example)
you must to wait to 1QT of 2007.
Anyway, take a look at those mailing lists
(http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/orca-list) Orca mailling list
and
http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-accessibility-list
gnome-accessibility mailling list
Hope it helps you.
Juan Ramón.
