The H10 is reaching the same level of functionality as the ipods. Battery
life isn't as good as when using the iriver firmware, but is still OK. It's
about 8-9 hours of playback on the 20GB model if you just leave it playing
with the screen off. Battery life would obviusly be shorter if you're using
the screen a lot, or playing games etc. I'm not sure about the battery life
on the 5GB model, but it would probably be half to two thirds what iriver
quote with their fimware. It will get better with time too.
I'm not sure about accessibility for blind people. It should be OK. Most of
the buttons are quite easy to find without looking at the device. The
touchpad is the only thing I would be worried about. I think there are
others on this list who would have more advice in this area. I think the H10
would be more suited for blind use than the iPod anyway.
In order to collaborate with the project, I have seen the spanish

Any help you can offer is very welcome. Have a look at
http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/VoiceBuilding for some info about
creating .voice files.
