Bitrates from 64 up to 320 is it? Are mp3 bitrates. the 900 is wv, wavepak,
and the last is uncompressed pcm, my personally preferred method of
recording anything.
I hope that helps.

| When I go into recording settings in the menus, I hear choices for Quality
| and Frequency. The Frequency is set at 44 and cannot be changed, but the
| Quality has many bit rate choices such as 128, 192 etc. Are you saying
this
| setting is irrelevant? I don't hear anything about choosing to record in
| MP3, is this an option somewhere in the menus? I also don't hear any
option
| for setting the time and date like I used to do on my old Archos with
| Rockbox. Sorry, but the quality and frequency recording settings choices
| have really confused me.
