Hi all,

I recently got an iAudio X5 after using an Archos Recorder 20 with Rockbox for a while.

I just recorded some stuff last night, and when I finished the recording, I noticed that the menus weren't speaking. I have tried turning the power on and off, but to no avail. I thought I entered the key sequence correctly to have it voice
menus, but I've possibly done the wrong thing. I found a helpful sighted person to look at it, but in my eagerness to save battery power, I apparently totally turned off the display. <sheepish grin>

So here are my questions:

1. Is this a known issue? Or is it something special reserved for me? <grin>

2. Is this the sequence to turn on voiced menus? Rec, down, down, right, up, right, right, right?

3. What is the sequence to do something about the display?
